🚀 Smarter Targeting with AI Ark Filters

AI Ark helps you find the right people and companies faster—with smart, customizable filters that cut through the noise. The Job Role filter gives you advanced tools to search based on someone's current or past roles, responsibilities, seniority, department, and years of experience.

🎯 Why Use the Job Role Filter?

Whether you're hiring for specific roles, identifying decision-makers, or analyzing career paths, the Job Role filter helps you zero in on the exact profiles that matter. With layered filters for title, seniority, department, and experience, you can build highly refined searches that save time and deliver precise results.

🧭 How to Use It

  1. Open AI Ark

  2. Select People Search

  3. Click on Job Role

Choose: Current Job or Previous Job

At the top of the filter, choose whether you want to search based on the person’s current job or past jobs. Each path has the same flexible options:

🔷 Job Role Search Options

🎯 Include Job Title:

Find profiles with any of the listed job titles.

Example: Include Product Manager, UX Designer, or Data Analyst.

🎯 Exclude Job Title:

Remove profiles with any of the listed job titles.

Example: Exclude Intern, Freelancer, or Assistant.

🎯 Include Job Title (AND):

Find profiles that contain all the entered job titles.

Example: Require both the Team Lead and the Engineer in the job history.

  • Each logic option includes a Search Exact Match Checkbox.
    Enable it to filter results where the job title matches exactly what you entered.

  • For all job title filters, you can choose titles from a dropdown menu or type in your own.
    You can select one or multiple titles at once.

💼 Organization Roles

🧩 Seniority Level

Use this section to filter by seniority level, based on role keywords in the person’s job title.You can select one or multiple roles depending on how specific your targeting needs to be.

Available options:

  • Owner

  • Founder

  • C-Suite

  • Partner

  • VP

  • Head

  • Director

  • Manager

  • Senior

  • Entry

  • Intern

🧩 Department & Job Function

Narrow your results based on the department or functional area associated with the person’s job.You can select one or multiple depending on how specific your targeting needs are.
Available categories:

  • C-Suite

  • Product

  • Engineering & Technical

  • Design

  • Education

  • Finance

  • Human Resources

  • Information Technology

  • Legal

  • Marketing

  • Medical & Health

  • Operations

  • Sales

  • Consulting

⏳ Experience Filters

Refine your results by filtering based on experience timelines:

  • Time in Current Job Role

  • Time in Current Company

  • Total Work Experience

Each filter allows you to set a Min and Max for years and months.

Example:

  • Find people with at least 2 years in their current role

  • Filter out profiles with more than 5 years total experience

  • Target people who are new in their current company (e.g., < 6 months)

⚠ Common Mistake: Using higher range for minimum

If you set the Max value lower than the Min value in any experience filter, like Time in Current Job Title, Time in Current Company, or Total Work Experience, you’ll see an error.

You may receive a “The Max should be higher than Min” error.

✅ Fix it: Make sure the Max value is greater than the Min value before applying the filter.

🤖 Get Similar Job Titles with AI

AI Ark helps you go beyond static keywords by using AI to discover related job titles. With just one click, you can expand your search and reach a wider, smarter audience.

🧭 How to Use It

  1. Open AI Ark

  2. Select People Search

  3. Click on Job Role

  4. Hover on Include, Exclude or Include(AND) to see the AI button

  5. Click on AI button

Enter a job title keyword, then click Generate Similar Titles.
The AI will suggest additional job titles that are closely related to the keyword you provided.

Example: Enter “Data Analyst” → Get suggestions like “Business Intelligence Analyst,” “Reporting Specialist,” or “Insights Analyst.”

🔗 Combine Multiple Entries (Optional)

If you've entered two or more keywords, you can enable the Combine Entries toggle.
This feature lets the AI merge and generate hybrid titles based on combinations of your input, great for discovering cross-functional or blended roles.

Example:
Keywords: Product Manager, UX
→ Get suggestions like “UX Product Manager”, “Product Experience Lead”, etc.

✅ Where You Can Use This

The Generate Similar Titles feature is available in all three job role logic types:

  • Include

  • Exclude

  • Include (AND)

Use it to strengthen your search, explore role variations, or build more inclusive filters with minimal effort.
